I had the pleasure of partnering with Bureau Béatrice’s dynamic Dubai-based team to create a suite of visual assets for their high-profile website relaunch. Known as a “luxury creative technology company” that sparks “amazement and enchantment” by blending bold ideas with human-centered tech, Bureau Béatrice has steadily grown in the Middle East since opening its Dubai Design District office in early 202. Working with them meant aligning with their fearless creative ethos, where imagination always leads, and technology is the magic wand. Together, we produced streamlined, emotion-driven assets that bring their brand narrative to life in a compelling, experiential way, just in time for their site re-launch.

So with the Eifel project complete, I thought I would try another, this time a little more complex, so another walk—this time on a gray, chilly day in Berlin. Inspiration can strike anytime; you just have to be ready to seize it. With my trusty iPhone in hand, I captured some 4K footage of the nearly completed tower. I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it, I just knew I wanted to create something. This project is also featured in my Skunkwerks collection.

Back home, I imported the footage, made a 3D track, added some simple 3D shapes, and re-projected the footage onto the model. Then, I put together a (supposedly simple, but not really) animation.

After the serious business of launching my show-reel, I figured I should create a little creative mischief. Tried out Kling AI for the first time, specifically for some video in-painting experiments. It's far from perfect (think “magic wand with a mind of its own”), but it's definitely fun to play with and occasionally surprisingly usable. Aah the Amazon Tower, I wish it would float away.

One day, not long after my time with Trade Republic ended, I was walking through Berlin when I came across some stunning street art. It looked so alive that something inside me just had to see it move. That idea turned into a massive project—a true labor of love.
I dove deep into character rigging, used AI to erase walls, and spent days rotoscoping tram lines out of moving footage.

Is there every a more perfect excuse to mess around with some motion magic. I love a creative stretch, and this poster gave me exactly that. Designed by Swiss maestro Melchior Imboden for the 7th annual Weltformat Poster Festival in Lucerne, this piece is a masterclass in typographic precision, geometric rhythm, and optical depth, turning letters into three-dimensional structures that practically beg to be animated.
I couldn’t resist diving into its isometric world. It felt only right to give the design some context, so I dropped it into real-world poster footage, blending the graphic with the tangible.

This was so tough, motion tracking water is not easy, then adding 3D elements make it even more of a challenge, but the end results speak for themselves, I personally shot the footage of the River Spree on an iPhone and 3D tracked it using Mocha. Finally it was all composited using after effects.

This was my first time back in a studio in years, and I absolutely loved it! It was also one of the final projects with input from the original full creative team. We shot all the plates against white, assembled the cuts and grades, and then I customized the animations using Cinema 4D and Redshift to create blurred glass with depth and clarity. This one definitely pushed the render farm to its limits!

As part of the Inflation project, this piece presented unique challenges. I aimed for realism, using subsurface scattering and displacement mapping to create the butter stamp, as well as incorporating intricate details like the unique knife marks. The animation had to feel natural, capturing the moment the butter (representing inflation) slips away, never to be seen again!

This vibrant, neon-soaked burst of color signaled the brand's shift away from a dystopian aesthetic toward a brighter, more approachable vibe that aligned with the rebrand. I re-created the interface animation of the Trade Republic app and placed a 3D phone and platform against a glowing neon tube backdrop. Adding a touch of volume fog enhanced the scene, making the phone and tube lights pop with depth. The teams loved the results so much that we carried the theme into the upcoming Christmas campaign, reinforcing a strong and cohesive visual style.

I’ve always loved Nature Morte by Belgian artist ROA, so I decided to create a subtle animation of it. The original piece dates back to 2011 and was part of the @skalitzers Transit exhibition. This one was a mix of rotoscoping and a bit of animation—nothing too crazy. I’m always very respectful when working on these kinds of projects; I never alter the artist’s work, just add a touch of movement. I think this one struck just the right balance.

This was a fun and straightforward project—and a great collaboration with my ex-Trade Republic colleague and TikTok rockstar, Enxh. He started a trend on TikTok with half-and-half videos, and after returning from Paris, he handed me this clip. A bit of After Effects, a little sky replacement, and just like that—the end result? A little bit of magic!

I never see a billboard I can't use! This one was super simple—I found some beautiful footage, tracked a poster, and recreated an iconic design. With just a bit of careful tracking and compositing, the final result felt seamless. Nothing too complex, but sometimes, simple is best! It’s always fun to experiment with these small creative exercises, finding ways to blend design with the real world in a natural and engaging way.
