Concept

We used a source particle to represent a face. As the customer progresses through onboarding, the face gradually becomes more visible. An alternative version uses a series of supplied Lottie files that increase in intensity as the user completes each step.

Everything starts somewhere, and for us, that was creating the “Soul of Trade Republic.” This asset was designed to be versatile; we invested significant time shaping its aesthetics to feel intelligent, adaptable, warm, and organic, never cold or artificial.

Using the “soul” element as a foundation, we developed a visual metaphor for interest growth over time. Spheres gradually move towards the central element (representing savings), causing it, and therefore savings, to expand.

Concept

Alongside the app relaunch, Trade Republic also began shifting its identity from a tech-focused company to a lifestyle-oriented brand. These assets were created as part of that transition. I filmed the footage of the River Spree, motion-tracked it, and integrated the 3D element. I also worked with the team to developed new typography styles and animations to be used across all channels.
